drue and sarah stayed with us on a flying visit to london for a friends wedding. it was so good to see them and spend a bit of time with them. drue and ed managed to go down the slides at tate modern...twice

we took them to a little french wine bar in covent garden

and a walk through st james park to soak up the rare uk sun

sping is now officially here

my daffodils have finally bloomed!!! spring is really here.

i bought a kimono dressing gown months ago and haven't been able to wear it as it has been so cold but today i brought it out of hibernation, i just love the pattern of the fabric.

i have done a bit more work on my painting-woke up rediculously early this morning and couldn't go back to sleep for thinking of work! of all things. it has gone a little odd but i will just keep building on it and see where it goes.
